Am I missing something?

I am trying to set up an x10 PMS02 occupancy sensor.
I have tested it and know it is working with my tranceiver etc., but HAL cannot 'see' it.
I have set up a sensor in HAL, made a rule that if SENSOR ON , take such and such action, but it does not seem to work. The system monitor does not show any indication of x10 activity. Should the PMS02 be set up as a device instead?

Hi Max

I belive you have a x-10 communication problem, try plugging in your tranciever as close to your power line adapter to see if that corrects the problem, Make sure to pull up the system monitor to see if there is any kind of x-10 activity on your line, when you test your sensor. If this corrects the problem there is a device that is creating noise on your power line. If this works email me and I will give more info on trouble shooting and correcting the x-10 problem.

Also be aware HAL has a known issue with sensors. HAL needs to recieve an ON and an OFF before it will start reporting correctly. This is true the first time after every restart of HAL. Drives me nutz. Shouldnt be a big issue with motion/occupency detectors but it might be confusing your testing.
