HAL cannot locate CD-ROM - Page 3

Nothing else appeared in the Test app???? You should have gotten more messages.

To verify process. I used the DLL reg app from the prvious test prog. to reg the DLL. ran the test app. Started DMC, recieved first error that it can't find the cd rom drive. Nothing in test app at this time. inserted audio disk. Test app displays. Drive count - 1, another error window opens can't find drive. Nothing else appears in test app. If I leave out the step where i open DMC and just run the test app and insert a dick I get same result. Only message displayed is Drive count - 1 Let me know if I am missing something.

Here is what I see on my system. I have 2 drives. One is a Virtual Drive and one is a real drive. Notice it says "Media is Audio CD in Drive e:\"

and Current Drive is Drive 2. which on the screen is in reverse order so its the TSSTcorp drive.

Here is a copy of the test app again just incase your using the wrong version.

If your not seeing what I am seeing then there is something wrong with your drivers/os. This app runs independant of HAL.
