Update An update is a newer version of the same software. This is shown by a change in the last set of digits in the version number (second set of digits doesn't change). For example, going from version 1.3.50 of HALbasic to version 1.3.81 of HALbasic is an update. An update contains minor fixes and features. There is no charge for an update. Go to the Downloads page to download the latest update. A CD of the update can also be requested for a nominal fee (click the Order a CD option at left). NOTE: Going from version 1.3.81 of HALbasic to version 2.0.66 of HALbasic is not an update -- this is a Version Upgrade. Going from version 2.0.66 of HALbasic to version 3.7 of HALdeluxe, for example, is a Software Upgrade.
