Version Upgrade  This is an upgrade within the same software.  This is shown by a change in the first digit in the version number (the second and third set of digits may change as well).  For example, going from version 2.0.33 of HAL2000 to version 3.7 of HAL2000 is a version upgrade.  There is a small fee for a version upgrade.

NOTE:  Going from HALbasic version 2.x to HALdeluxe or HAL2000 version 3.x is a Software Upgrade, not a Version Upgrade (software upgrades automatically include a version upgrade).
