this website or you can order a CD (the CD is ordered at the time
the HAL
Version Upgrade Form is filled out).

1.2.19 users (HAL2000) or 1.3.x users (HALbasic,
HALdeluxe, or HAL2000):
If you are currently running version 1.2.19 to 1.3.81, the upgrade
will require a new product key. To obtain this product key,
fill
out the upgrade form and submit it. Once we've verified
that you're a registered HAL user, you will be provided with a
new product key which you can use to register the software online.
Until you receive the new product key and register the software,
you can click LATER in the HAL Registration screen to temporarily
bypass the registration process. This upgrade version will
stop working if it's not registered within 30 days.
After filling out the upgrade form, you can then download
the latest version from the website.
1.2.16 or earlier users (HAL2000):
If you are currently running version 1.2.16 or earlier, you must
first install the update to version 1.2.19 of HAL2000 before you
can install the upgrade to this version. Click
here for information on downloading version 1.2.19.
Then follow the instructions above for "1.2.19 or 1.3.x users".
NOTE: Do not install version
1.2.19 if you are running U.K. English version 1.2.16 or
earlier.
