Within 30 days of purchase
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you are not, the eligible items may be returned within 30 days from the date your order ships for a full refund (less shipping costs) by using the returns procedure outlined below. You may not then repurchase the item within the next 60 days of the date of return.
After 30 days of purchase
Products purchased from us which are found to be defective after the first 30 days but within the warranty period may be returned for exchange using the returns procedure outlined below. All warranty terms and restrictions apply.
Unopened physical copies of software, all regularly stocked hardware items with original packaging, parts and documentation, and packages with unopened software. Hardware such as modems and UPB or X10 devices come with a 30 day warranty. Server warranty periods differ and are stated on the store item page.
There are no refunds on opened physical copies of software, custom servers, bed controllers or hardware, refurbished items that are in working order, software maintenance subscriptions or on downloaded update software once license codes have been issued. There are no refunds on hardware items purchased internationally. If in doubt, please contact HAL using the information below before making your final purchase.
• All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#). Please contact HAL Sales using the information below to obtain your RMA#.
• Item must be returned to us within 30 days from the date order shipment.
• Item must be returned in its original condition with all manuals and packaging materials must be undamaged.
* Please note that returns not meeting the above conditions will be charged a restocking fee that can vary from 15% up to the full purchase price and shipping costs (depending on the condition of the returned item). Credit card purchases will be refunded to the original purchaser's card. Check, cash, or money orders will be refunded by a check. Please allow two weeks for processing.
All international orders are shipped via FedEx or UPS. If you should want your order shipped via USPS and waive tracking and charge back options, please make your request by sending an email to Orders@automatedliving.com
