When in HAL Setup or Configuration, what X-10 interface type do I select?

Choose from the drop-down menu the type of X-10 device you are using. If you are using a Power Line Adapter with HAL, look on the back of that adapter for its model number. It will most likely be a HAL11, CM11, or HD11. In that case you would choose "HAL11/CM11/CM12/HD11/CK11" from the drop-down menu. If you have a home automation controller, such as a JDS Stargate, HAI OmniPro, HCI HomeBase Deluxe or some other compatible controller, then select that controller from the drop-down menu.

NOTE: Selecting a home automation controller as the X-10 interface does not necessarily mean that the other features of that controller are supported. HALbasic and HALdeluxe, for instance, do not support analog and digital inputs and outputs, which is a feature that some of the HAL-compatible controllers include. HAL2000, on the other hand, does support those features.
