How do I register and obtain a license to use HAL?

After installing HAL, the software will prompt you for a registration number each time it starts. The software can be registered online or by calling the HAL Authorization Desk at 888-255-7700 or 301-498-7000 (go to the Contacts page for office hours).

Once registered, the HAL Registration screen will disappear. You can run HAL up to thirty (30) days before registering it. Click LATER in the registration screen to temporarily bypass it.

I already registered HAL. Why is it asking for a registration number again?
